Adrano Sniper

ADRANO-Sniper is a detection system based on acoustic technology for identifying and locating snipers in order to protect sensitive sites.

ADRANO-Sniper is equipped with a 3D microphone array consisting of 4 microphones arranged in a tetrahedral configuration, and a processing unit for threat classification and localization in terms of azimuth and elevation.

ADRANO-Sniper operates by providing 24/7 protection.

Key features:

  • Modular system
  • Passive system
  • Fixed and mobile installation
  • High portability
  • Good cost-effectiveness ratio
  • Integrable with other sensors and C&C systems

Description

The ADRANO-Sniper Classification Library is based on the identification of specific acoustic signatures of snipers (muzzle blast and shockwave) through artificial intelligence techniques.

The MOC is the graphical user interface of the ADRANO system and provides the operator with a primary window showing the tactical scenario and a secondary window that allows the user to:
display the list of threats identified by the system,
test and control the system.

The MOC also provides recording and playback functions for off-line analysis.

AUTOMATIC detects snipers or UAVs in a fully automatic way
OMNIDIRECTIONAL detects drones coming from any direction
FAST detects snipers or UAVs in real time

Monitoring Center

The Monitoring Center (MOC) is the graphical interface of the ADRANO system, providing the operator with a primary window for viewing the tactical scenario and a secondary window for displaying the list of threats, snipers or UAVs, identified by the system.

The Monitoring Center also provides a Recording & Playback function for off-line analysis of recorded data.
