From 27 May to 8 June 2026, INTECS Engineering presented DEDALO in Skellefteå, Sweden, as part of a demonstration campaign carried out in collaboration with NoMeTa, local partner for the development of commercial opportunities in the Swedish market and across the Nordic countries.

The initiative took place during Society Expo 2026 and made it possible to validate DEDALO in a real operational environment, with a distributed configuration including sensor, Command & Control system and multi-user remote access.

The system continuously monitored the designated area throughout the campaign, detecting more than 30 drone flight activities, including around 10 violations of the No-Fly Zone. These results confirmed the reliability of DEDALO even in highly challenging environments, including the adverse weather conditions typical of Northern Europe, and highlighted its value for airport security, airspace surveillance, UAV traffic management and the protection of sensitive areas.

The final presentation was held at the Skellefteå Drone Hub, with the involvement of institutional and industrial stakeholders and operators from the drone ecosystem. The event represented an important step in the international positioning of DEDALO, a DRONE DETECTION SYSTEM that reflects the excellence of Italian high engineering, and in strengthening the partnership between INTECS Engineering and NoMeTa.

The demonstration in Sweden is a significant milestone in the commercial development of the solution in the Nordic countries, also in relation to potential future applications across networks of private airports and strategic infrastructures.
